What Makes Us Unique
The Alliance is an action-oriented group of individuals who are ready to change the conversation about community development in West Baltimore. Our goal is to educate and empower communities to successfully negotiate community benefits (such as mixed-income housing, local hiring, minority contractor participation, and family-supporting wages).
We believe that communities are most effective when they come to the table with a cooperative spirit - one that encourages diversity of opinion and constructive strategic action. No longer must we take a "wait and see" approach to development in our communities. The future of West Baltimore is in our hands.
